This one-of-a-kind small serving dish is a perfect addition to your table. Makes a great hostess gift!
Inspired by wild flowers in my garden this dish is made using a mono printing technique. The designs are painted on newsprint in reverse order from foreground to background and transferred at just the right moment to the surface of the wet, red clay. From there the dish is shaped and finished. I love the unstructured, worn texture caused by the imprint of the wet paper on clay. No two pieces are ever the same.
Each piece is made with red stoneware glazed with a clear, food-safe gloss finish. Base is unglazed.
